Premium kiln-dried ash logs
| We recommend our premium kiln-dried ash logs for woodburning stoves. They are a minimum of 90% ash. They are very cost effective, with a typical moisture content of 15% and are guaranteed to have a maximum moisture content of 20%. Our kiln-dried logs are the driest firewood you can buy! The lower the moisture content of your firewood, the more heat is produced as less energy is used to evaporate any remaining moisture. This means more heat for your room with less smoke and steam going up the chimney. A basket of kiln-dried logs can produce as much heat and last as long as 2 baskets of seasoned logs. We use kilns heated with renewable energy, using waste wood.Our kiln-dried logs are tightly packed for convenience in nets. When emptied out of the nets, they make a pile of loose logs taking up about half as much volume again as when tightly packed in the nets. |  |
Price
Prices include VAT and free delivery within 15 miles of Uley. Our kiln-dried logs are packed in nets, so we’ll unload by hand and stack these for you. If ordering by phone, we prefer to take debit card payments when placing the order. We also sell kiln-dried softwood kindling at £3 a bag (12 litres). |
